March 13, 2020

A group of 11 friends between the ages of 20s to 30s shared the same cigarette and passed around drinks, thus, infecting one another at a gathering.

According to Thai officials, a group of 15 friends took part in a gathering and 11 of them shared the same cigarette and some drinks. All 11 of the friends who shared that cigarette and drinks infected one another with Covid-19. It’s the largest single jump in Thailand so far. Thailand’s current count is 70 cases and one death.

Khaosod indicated there was also a person from Hong Kong within that party of friends and has already left the country. It should be noted that the coronavirus’ fatality rate is between 1-2% of its patients and is most dangerous to the elderly and individuals with underlining health issues.
