Suspect Targeting Chinese Businesses in New York

NYPD is currently looking for an African-American male suspect who is targeting Chinese businesses.

The first reported robbery occurred at Hai Rong Mini Market convenience store on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst on September 1. The suspect flashed a gun at a 37-year-old clerk and fled with $500, according to Brooklyn Paper.

The suspect struck again a week later on September 7 in Sunset Park. He entered the Koong Wing Restaurant on Fourth Avenue, flashed a gun once again, and made off with $1,000.

The NYPD describes the suspect as a Black man between the ages of 20 and 30.
