Intruder Stabbed to Death in Koreatown

A home invasion suspect was stabbed to death Sunday night in Koreatown, Los Angeles, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The armed home invader attempted to break into a penthouse in the 3000 block Wilshire Blvd around 6 pm. The resident was initially shot in the leg, a struggle then ensued between the resident and intruder, which resulted in the home intruder being disarmed and subsequently stabbed to death by the resident with a knife, according to police.

The resident is recovering at a local hospital in stable condition for a gunshot wound. The 3000 block on Wilshire Blvd is demographically majority Korean and Caucasian. No word on the identity of the resident or the deceased suspect.
