Filipina Fencing Champion Completes 9 Ivy League Online Courses

The 2019 Southeast Asian Games bronze medalist, Maxine Esteban, 19, just finished nine online Ivy League courses during self-quarantine, according to ABS-CBN Sports.

Esteban is a foil fencer and was named Season 81 Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player at Ateneo de Manila University. Through Esteban’s Instagram account, she posed with the certificates she received from the schools.

She completed her Wharton School courses Entrepreneurship 1 (Developing the Opportunity), Entrepreneurship 2 (Launching your start-up), Entrepreneurship 3 (Growth Strategies), Entrepreneurship 4 (Financing and Profitability), Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content, Introduction to Marketing and Customer Analytics.

She also finished courses from Yale University, Financial Markets, and Introduction to Negotiation courses. Esteban isn’t all sword, she’s also studying Engineering Management in Ateneo.
