August 27, 2022

QUEENS, NYC—Another young Asian woman was found stabbed to death inside her Queens apartment Friday morning, police said.

The woman, described to be in her 20s, was discovered by her roommate with multiple stab wounds to her chest just before 7 a.m. inside her fifth-floor apartment on 41st Road near Frame Place in Flushing.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said her death appears “suspicious.”

The woman’s male roommate was briefly questioned by police.

The Asian-American community in the area is already on edge after multiple high-profile homicides. Christina Yuna Lee was savagely stabbed to death inside her apartment back in February by 25-year-old Assamad Nash. She was followed into her apartment after exiting a taxi around 4:30 a.m.

No further details are available about yesterday’s homicide.
