Violent Robbery at Rowland Heights Market Caught on Video

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA—Police are searching for two men they say robbed a man for his Rolex watch at a supermarket in Rowland Heights and pistol-whipped him and the woman he was with.

The violent robbery happened just after 12 p.m. on Saturday at the 99 Ranch Market store on Nogales Avenue, according to the Walnut Sheriff’s Station.

An Asian man and woman were loading groceries into their vehicle when two men ran up to them and began demanding the Asian man’s Rolex watch, deputies said.

Before the Asian man could respond, one of the suspects pistol-whipped him and knocked him to the ground. The second suspect then pistol-whipped the woman he was with as well, according to ABC7.

The robbery was captured on video.

The suspects grabbed the $60,000 watch and took off in a white Dodge Challenger with paper license plates, according to deputies.

The suspects are described as two men between 25 and 30 years old. They were seen wearing black hoodies and gray sweatpants and were both reportedly armed with handguns, reports ABC7.

Both Walnut Sheriff’s Station and Temple Sheriff’s Station are working together after receiving reports of similar incidents over the past few days.

They believe the two suspects involved in Saturday’s robbery may be the same two suspects involved in those incidents.

Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
