Police Are Searching for 2 Women Who Assaulted Nail Salon Employee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Authorities are searching for two women who assaulted and stole money from the cash register of a nail salon in the northeast D.C. area last Thursday.

The assault and robbery happened in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue Northeast, according to ABC7.

At around 1:47 p.m., the two overweight African-American female suspects approached an employee at the nail salon and assaulted the woman before taking money from the store’s cash register. The suspects then fled, according to police.

The incident was captured on surveillance video.
