Police Issue Warrants for 2 Suspects in Shooting Death of a Man

March 7, 2021

TORONTO, Canada—Hamilton police have issued warrants for two suspects involved in the shooting death of a 39-year-old man named Tyler Pratt, in British Columbia.

Police stated 28-year-old Oliver Karafa and 25-year-old Yun (Lucy) Lu Li (Mia Triplets), are wanted for first-degree murder and the attempted murder of a second victim, reported to CBC News.

According to police, both suspects reside in Toronto and believe they have left the area.

Pratt was shot dead in Stoney Creek on Sunday, February 28. A woman was also shot in the same incident and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Hamilton police say they have recovered the vehicles believed to have been involved in the incident and are seeking to locate Karafa and Li, according to CBC News.

Karafa’s name should ring a bell: He was the impaired rich kid driver behind the wheel of a Range Rover that slammed into a pole on Mt. Pleasant Rd. in 2012, killing his passenger, reported the Toronto Sun.

He was speeding at 150 km/h up the busy road at the time and the impact ripped the luxury SUV in half.

As for his female companion, Lucy Lu Li, her Instagram page was pulled Thursday night. But she appears to be some sort of “influencer” who works with her sisters. The trio are triplets, according to the Toronto Sun.

Anyone with information is asked not to approach the individuals and notify police.

If you have information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Karafa and Li, police say you should contact Det. David Tsuchida by calling 905-546-4123. To provide information anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
