TOLEDO, Ohio—Police are attempting to identify multiple suspects who stole a large number of items from a beauty store in West Toledo and viciously assaulted the store owner.
Multiple suspects walked out of Monroe Beauty Supply with merchandise on Tuesday, February 23.
When store owner Hylun Sook Hwang confronted the shoplifters, one of the suspects spit on her and struck her in the face with a stun gun and punched her, reported WTOL 11.
The owner valiantly tried pursuing the suspects’ car on foot as they left the parking lot. Hwang’s face was bruised and swollen, however, she refused treatment.
